Colleen Brown
Owner and Senior Lawyer
Colleen obtained her law degrees from the University of McGill in 1998. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta, and her Masters of Science in Community and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia.
Colleen was called to the bar in New York State in 1999, and British Columbia in 2013, opening Frontier Law in 2017. Colleen is a general practice solicitor with a particular interest in surface rights and the environment.

Oliver Young

Oliver was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. He completed his law degree from Thompson Rivers University and a Masters of Law in Taxation from Osgoode Hall at York University. Oliver was called to the BC Bar in 2018 and joined Frontier Law in 2019.
Oliver has worked as a business and transactional lawyer and currently his principal practice area is real estate conveyancing. He has experience across a variety of industries including commercial properties, non-profits, land matters, restaurant startups and franchises.

Jaime Boyle
Contract Lawyer
Jaime was born and raised in Prince Rupert, BC. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Victoria, BC and obtained her Bachelor of Law at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. Following the completion of her time in Australia, she returned to British Columbia to be closer to her family, settling in Kelowna.
Jaime was called to the BC Bar in 2011 and practices in the areas of wills, trusts and estate administration, corporate and commercial law, and contract law.

Yancy Flores
Articling Student
Yancy earned his Juris Doctor (legal degree) from the University of Baguio, Philippines where he served as an Executive Assistant and Local Legislative Assistant in the City Government of Baguio for six years prior to immigrating to Canada in 2014. At that time, he arrived directly to Fort St. John with his family and has been here ever since balancing jobs as retail store associate and construction technician. In 2024, Yancy successfully obtained his Canadian National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) Certificate of Qualification, validating his foreign legal credentials.
In 2025, Yancy commenced as an Articling Student with Frontier Law and is currently working towards his call and admission to the BC Bar.

Bailie Copeland
Articling Student
Bailie is a lifelong local resident of the Peace Region and has recently joined Frontier Law as an articling student. She holds a law degree from Thompson Rivers University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Athabasca University.
Bailie is a Métis rancher and as such is deeply passionate about Indigenous rights, agricultural law, land issues and oil and gas matters.
